Bicentennial Park Bike Hire Schedule
Schedule to man the Park Bike Hire
During the month of September and part of August and October 2005, I will be taking the place of Ivor at the bike hire in the Bicentennial Park near the Sydney Olympic Park. Most of the day will be organising the public who want to hire bikes for an hour or 2 or for half-a-day. The main task itself is easy but getting there is a challenge. Sydney does not have an extensive public transport system. Since the job requires using a ute to tow a bike trailer and the logistics of it makes driving to work impractical. Cycling to and from train stations which is around 5 km each way is a necessity. Here are the days I will be doing it.
Saturdays are very early start which include cycling to Rooty Hill Station, taking the train to Central Station and cycling to Centennial Bike Hire to pick up the ute. Sundays are late finish which include returning the ute, cycling to Central, train to Rooty Hill and cycling home.
